Kalia, the Indian army was imprisoned by Pakistan during the Kaghil war. He was
punished draconically like piercinghot rod into his ears to give information
about the Indian policies and ammunitions but he kept silent,he was shot
dead.thus he sacrificed his life for the nation.Another Army man,Captain Anuj
Nayar,He had a pathetic story.Before going to the war he gave a ring to his
officer saying "Sir,Give it to my fiancée and tell her that I love her so
much" later in the battlefield he was martyred.
Few months
back in Pathankot terror Attack,Lt.Col. Niranjan was encountered. He was 35
years old who left his his wife and two sons.I can still remember how his two
kids were looking at the coffin just before the funeral took place,the scene
was so heart wrenching. Recently in a TV interview of martyr's families I saw a
young daughter of a martyr cried out loud saying"Don't forget my
papa...don't.." Thus the defence forces and their families whom we
actually don't know sacrifices for us.
If we
get back to the freedom movement, lakhs of people lost their lives and the bulk
of them were young,unmarried.All they had done just to bring freedom,to keep
alive the integrity of our nation,to see the countrymen living with peace,unity
and amity but it is too see now what we are gifting them in return.
Everyday we
are listening the sloppy mouth of our politicians.We are fighting against each
other in the name of caste,religion.We are getting indoctrinated by our religious businessmen,our minds are
getting blurry.Politicians trying to inject us the extra piousness which would
overshadow our intellectual capacity to judge between the right and wrong.
Diversity is
the beauty of our country.Every foreigners who visit India praises our religious
diversity.Johnty Rhodes,the former English cricketer named his daughter as
'India' because he loves India and enjoys the religious and cultural diversity
of our country.So lets join our hands to keep this Intact.
Lets Try to eradicate the antagonism among the
different groups and promote brotherhood,lets live peacefully fighting off the
devilish minds.This will be the most beautiful reward to our deceased heroes
who laid down their lives for the cause of the nation.
