Moinal Mollah is languishing in detention camp since 05.09.2013 after Foreigners Tribunal held him foreigner by ex parte judgement. Honble High Court dismissed his case three times in three different rounds of litigation.
MYFACTS helped Moinal Mollah to approach Honble Supreme Court. On 12.07.2016 Hon'ble Supreme Court of India ordered Mollah to file written statement before the Tribunal. Today Syed Burhanur Rahman and I appeared before FT Barpeta for Moinal Mollah and filed Application to issue release order for Moinal Mollah from detention camp.
FT, Barpeta, has passed order to release Moinal Mollah from detention camp. Moinal Mollah will finally walk out of Detention camp, Goalpara, after almost three years of detetion. One more step to prove Moinal Mollah’s citizenship.
