The 54 Infantry Division, in association with Rotary Club of Hyderabad Centennial, organised a “Mega Health Camp” at Cantonment Board General Hospital in Bollaram on Sunday.
The camp was formally inaugurated by Principal Secretary to Governor Harpreet Singh, HQ 54 Infantry Division GOC Major General R S Mann, Additional Secretary to CM Smita Sabharwal, Rotary International District Governor Ratna Prabhakar Anne and Indian Medical Association (Telangana) Hon General Secretary Dr Avula Bharath Prakash.
It was a Mega Health Camp in true sense as more than 120 Doctors, Physicians, Super Specialists, Technicians from Apollo, Maxcure, Yashoda, Pranaam, Century Super Speciality Hospitals, Military Hospital, Tapadia Diagnostic Centre, Mallareddy Narayana Multispeciality Hospital, Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Hospital and Research Institute attended to nearly 5,000 people.
The specialists who participated in the camp include: Cardiologists, Dermatologists, Gynecologists, Urologists, ENT, Orthopedic, Eye, Dentist, Gastro, Oncologists and many more.
The camp provided medical assistance to the Defence (including Ex-Servicemen) and Civilian population of the area. The objective of the camp was to provide Free health check up. For this it is said, Rotary club comes forward to join in Mega Health Camp.
Moreover, specialist consultation, diagnostics, primary treatment & selective follow up treatment of the individuals in association with Rotary Club of Hyderabad Centennial (RCHC).

Hyderabad: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, along with HMDA and Forest Department, has made elaborate arrangements for the 25 lakh mega plantation on Monday in its limits, said GHMC Mayor Bonthu Rammohan said here on Sunday.

The Mayor, along with Deputy Mayor Baba Fasiuddin and GHMC Commissioner Dr. B. Janardhan Reddy, held a press conference on Sunday to brief about the arrangements made for the Haritha Haram program.
The Mayor said people from different walks of life, including Sports and Film personalities, IT Industry, NGOs and educational institutions, have forward to participate in the Haritha Haram.
The Commissioner informed that distribution counters were opened in various locations for supply of medicinal and avenue plants and the information was also available on the website.
Special counters have been opened at major temples and churches for supply of medicinal and homestead plants. He appealed to the citizens to make use of this opportunity and participate in this mega Haritha Haram programme to make Hyderabad a green city.
Additional Commissioner Shiv Kumar Naidu and Urban Bio-Diversity Director Damodhar were also present in the press meet.
