Dawood Ibrahim is going to attend the wedding of his late sister Hasina Parkar's son in Mumbai on Wednesday, via Skype
According to report, the Parkar family will make arrangements for Dawood and his men to watch the wedding on Skype.
Haseena Parkar (51), sister of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim, had died last year in July. Alishah is the youngest son. Her eldest son Danish was killed in a car accident in 2007. Parkar’s demise was a personal loss for Dawood as some of his business interests too were affected. The daughter, Umaira, got married last year in a low-key celebration after Hasina's death.
Alishah is marrying Ayesha Nagani a girl from the Memon community. The wedding will take place at Rasool mosque in south Mumbai and the reception will take place at Juhu's Tulip Star hotel.
The cops from the anti-extortion cell will keep an eye on affair wanted Dawood men if they attend the wedding. "We will keep a watch as there is a possibility of rival gangsters trying to disturb the peace," said an officer.
Iqbal Kaskar, Dawood's brother, and his sisters Zaitoon and Farzana, along with their husbands will most likely attend the wedding.
It is believed that Hasina Parkar used to take care of Dawood's properties in Mumbai and Konkan. It is also alleged that Parkar had shares in other businesses like land acquisition for SRA project, cable TV, hawala rackets and film distribution.
